I was born in 1966 in Hoofddorp the Netherlands. I have a bachelor degree in electronics (information technology) and I graduated in 1991. In October 1991 I started to work for a big semiconductor company. First in 68k design-in, then 80C51 and XA-design-in (16 bit 80C51). In 1998 I moved to the paging business. Very interesting technologies; low power, low voltage, small form factor, high radio sensitivity and asynchronous microcontroller design. Despite these interesting technology the paging business is declining and became mature (no new innovations), therefore I moved in January 2000 to the Bluetooth project.
