For the Motorola M-series a custom made TI chip is used. This TI asic is based on the ARM7TDMI core (the standard in the GSM world). It is strange Motorola has chosen this core i.s.o. the m-core.
For the M-series look-a-like, the D520, a 68k based micro is used. |
