Impressions and conclusions:- The Nokia 3210 is a midrange dual band GSM phone for the European market
- It is quite heavy
- The paint on the cover will wear out quite fast
- The weight balance of this phone is bad, therefore it can easily drop out of somebody’s pocket.
- It is a lady’s phone (nothing bad of course, but for man it looks like wearing make-up. Sorry Gino ;-)))) OK OK, I have to qualify my statement, due to Gino I am the proud owner of such a brick. The Netmonitor however is quite handy.
- It does not have an external antenna, the antenna is inside the housing. Please be careful when you are replacing the housing with a metal one. The performance will decrease.
- Nokia is not using a one vendor or chipset approach, they shopped around trying to find the right solution (TI / infineon combination)
